MJPTN E215 Series Pre-insulated Aluminium Sleeves are ultra-high-strength mechanical inline connectors engineered exclusively for splicing the insulated neutral messenger (bearing core) in low-voltage overhead Aerial Bundled Conductor (A.B.C.) networks. Designed to match heavy-duty European standard tool matrices, these sleeves provide a massive, uncompromised mechanical tensile rating to carry the full physical deadweight of the grid span while maintaining an exceptionally low-resistance electrical neutral path.

Features
Ultimate Neutral Tensile Integrity
Explicitly structural-engineered with an extended, reinforced metallic core to withstand the massive physical tension exerted on full-bearing neutral messengers (typically 54.6 mm² to 70 mm²), preventing line sagging over long spans.
E215 Heavy-Duty Press Modulus
Machined to exact dimensional tolerances conforming strictly to international utility hydraulic tool criteria. It pairs seamlessly with high-tonnage E215 (21.5 mm) hexagonal compression dies for heavy, balanced deformation.
Hermetic Water-Tight Insulation
Wrapped in a rugged, UV-stabilized engineered polymer casing lined with specialized elastomeric sealing rings. The pre-insulated body isolates the spliced joint entirely from rainfall, humidity, and atmospheric salt spray.
Deep-Penetration Oxide Scrubbing
The internal aluminum chamber is pre-filled with high-viscosity, particle-loaded silica contact grease. Under heavy hydraulic pressure, the grease forcefully breaks down wire oxide layers to optimize neutral current distribution.
Implementation Instructions
Step 1: Wire Stripping & Core Alignment
Strip the neutral messenger insulation layer cleanly according to the precise strip-length guide stamped on the sleeve shell. Feed the raw conductor straight past the internal rubber sealing rings until it hits the inner mechanical center stop.
Step 2: High-Tonnage Center-Out Crimping
Load a compatible heavy-duty hydraulic tool with the designated E215 crimping die. Execute the compression sequence firmly along the sleeve housing, moving systematically from the stamped center alignment marks outward toward the cable jackets.
Step 3: Mechanical Seal Verification
Wipe away any excess grease extruded past the front entry caps during compression. Perform a visual inspection to ensure the integrated rubber rings tightly and uniformly enclose the cable insulation, completing the hermetic seal.
Step 4: Full-Load Bearing Safety Operations
Because the MJPTN sleeve splices the full-bearing neutral wire that supports the physical load of the entire ABC bundle, linesmen must deploy proper temporary line pulling grips and come-along tools to take up the full physical span tension before cutting or crimping the final neutral core.
Industrial Engineering & Standards
