PA25 Series Plastic Body Anchoring Clamps are the industry-standard, fully insulated overhead fittings engineered to secure and dead-end low-voltage insulated service cables. Molded entirely from high-impact structural engineering thermoplastics, this iconic clamp utilizes a specialized self-tightening sliding wedge core to lock service lines into a permanent holding state. It provides a highly reliable mechanical termination at pole hooks or residential walls without requiring linesmen to strip the cable’s outer dielectric insulation.

Features
Iconic PA25 Insulated Architecture
Precision-molded from glass-fiber reinforced polymer. The 100% non-conductive plastic shell establishes complete dielectric isolation and eliminates short-circuit or flashover hazards, offering an exceptionally high safety profile for urban power drops.
Stripping-Free Conical Self-Tightening
Calibrated for direct installation on unstripped insulated service lines. As the overhead span load escalates due to seasonal high winds or cable sagging, the internal wedges automatically advance deeper into the conical casing, tightening their grip safely without tearing the wire jacket.
Modular Multi-Core Wedge Alignment
Outfitted with heavy-duty interlocking thermoplastic wedges available in parallel channel configurations. This unique design ensures perfectly symmetrical clamping pressure distribution across all bundled conductors, completely preventing cable slippage.
High-Fatigue Resilient Wire Bail
Equipped with a highly flexible, heavy-gauge stainless steel loop or hot-dip galvanized wire bail. This rust-proof link dampens mechanical vibrations from severe wind shear, resisting oxidation and electrochemical degradation in coastal salt-spray zones.
Implementation Instructions
Step 1: Cable Core Placement
Do not strip the cable insulation. Fully pull back or slide open the internal polymer wedges from the PA25 conical housing, and seat the insulated service cable cores neatly and parallel inside the designated groove channels.
Step 2: Bracket Hook Attachment
Push the wedges smoothly forward into the conical neck to engage the initial mechanical grip. Loop the flexible steel wire bail smoothly over the designated pole bracket, wall-mounted hook, or consumer box eyelet.
Step 3: Mechanical Sag Tensioning
Apply uniform pulling force to the service drop to achieve the calculated network sag profile. Once the mechanical span weight is transferred onto the clamp, the self-tightening wedges will instantly lock into a permanent holding state.
Step 4: High-Safety Residential Drop & Live-Line Operations
Thanks to the premium dielectric non-conductive polymer matrix of the housing, the PA25 plastic clamp is exceptionally safe for installation in close proximity to live networks (hot-line handling). However, prior to final line release, linesmen must visually confirm that the cable insulation jacket is entirely free from raw cuts or surface punctures to ensure total watertight safety.
Industrial Engineering & Standards
High-grade fully insulated miniature tension clamps verified to sustain decades of continuous physical strain in global distribution grids:
- Premium Material Metallurgy: Molded from glass-fiber reinforced, UV-stabilized engineered thermoplastics with high thermal stability, preventing dynamic structural fatigue, micro-cracking, or structural creep.
- Strict Utility Standard Compliance: Thoroughly batch-tested and fully certified to meet or exceed the performance benchmarks of NF C 33-042 and EN 50483-3 standard specifications for low-voltage aerial accessories.
- Zero Thermal Degradation: All polymer housing shells and internal wedge components maintain exceptional dimensional stability and mechanical elasticity across an expansive operational thermal window, resisting both severe freeze and intense tropical UV heat waves.
