Anchoring Clamps Service Cable 4-core

Plastic Body 4-Core Service Anchoring Clamps are high-capacity, fully insulated overhead fittings engineered to dead-end and secure 4-core insulated service lines branching from distribution mains to commercial or multi-phase residential premises. Molded from high-impact, weather-proof engineering thermoplastics, this lightweight clamp simultaneously grips all four bundled cable cores via an automatic sliding wedge matrix. It delivers a permanent, high-tension termination at service poles or building structures without requiring linesmen to strip the outer cable insulation.

Features

100% Insulated Plastic Enclosure

Fabricated completely from structural-grade engineering polymers. This zero-metal enclosure layout guarantees absolute dielectric isolation, completely eliminating current tracking, flashover hazards, and atmospheric rust in coastal salt-spray or aggressive industrial environments.

Quad-Channel Symmetrical Wedge Matrix

Features an integrated internal wedge core precisely molded with four parallel wire channels. This structural layout provides perfectly balanced, symmetrical gripping pressure across all four insulated conductors, preventing cable slippage or asymmetrical core distortion.

Stripping-Free Conical Self-Tightening

Explicitly calibrated for direct implementation on unstripped insulated service drops. As the dynamic line span load increases due to wind shear or sagging, the wedges automatically advance deeper into the conical body to tighten their hold safely without piercing the outer jacket.

Resilient High-Fatigue Wire Bail

Equipped with a highly flexible, heavy-gauge stainless steel wire loop or a non-conductive composite bail. This durable loop smoothly dampens environmental mechanical vibrations while ensuring rapid, tool-free attachment over standard pole brackets, hooks, or drive pins.

Implementation Instructions

Step 1: 4-Core Quad Seating

Do not strip the cable insulation jacket. Open or pull back the internal plastic sliding wedges from the conical clamp housing, and lay the 4-core insulated cable bundle parallel inside the designated four-slot channels.

Step 2: Bracket Hook Attachment

Advance the wedges manually into the conical body sleeve to establish the initial grip. Slip the flexible wire bail loop smoothly over the designated pole bracket, wall-mounted hook, or consumer box eyelet.

Step 3: Self-Tightening Sag Lock

Draw the service cable bundle outward to achieve the calculated network line sag profile. Once the mechanical span weight is transferred to the clamp, the self-tightening wedges will instantly lock into a permanent holding state.

Step 4: High-Safety Residential Drop & Live-Line Operations

Because both the outer housing and the internal gripping wedges are molded from premium non-conductive polymer matrix, these 4-core plastic clamps are exceptionally safe for installation in close proximity to live lines (hot-line handling). However, prior to final line release, linesmen must visually confirm that the cable insulation jacket is free from raw punctures or core exposure to ensure total watertight safety.

Industrial Engineering & Standards

  • Premium Material Composites: Molded from glass-fiber reinforced, UV-stabilized engineered thermoplastics with high thermal stability, preventing dynamic structural fatigue, micro-cracking, or structural creep.
  • Rigid Utility Standard Compliance: Thoroughly batch-tested and certified to meet or exceed the performance benchmarks of NF C 33-042 and EN 50483-3 standard specifications for low-voltage aerial accessories.
  • Zero Thermal Degradation: All polymer housing shells and internal wedge components maintain exceptional dimensional stability and mechanical elasticity across an expansive operational thermal window, resisting both severe freeze and intense tropical UV heat waves.
