Plastic Body 1-Core Service Anchoring Clamps are highly cost-effective, non-conductive overhead fittings engineered to dead-end and anchor single-core insulated service cables or individual phase lines routing from distribution mains to consumer premises. Molded entirely from high-impact engineering thermoplastics, this lightweight clamp grips a single insulated conductor firmly via an automatic wedge matrix. It establishes a robust structural termination at building walls or service hooks without requiring operators to strip the cable’s outer dielectric sleeve.

Features
100% Non-Conductive Plastic Shell
Fabricated completely from high-grade weather-proof engineering polymers. This zero-metal housing layout guarantees total electrical insulation safety, naturally eliminating flashover risks, current tracking, and galvanic corrosion from atmospheric smog or coastal salt spray.
Dedicated Single-Core Wedge Matrix
Features a precision-molded internal polymer sliding block engineered exclusively for 1-Core insulated conductors. The custom-fit parallel channel wraps evenly around the single wire circumference, ensuring balanced compression and eliminating cable slippage.
Stripping-Free Conical Self-Tightening
Explicitly calibrated for direct implementation on unstripped insulated service drops. As the overhead line tension increases due to wind load or ice accumulation, the internal plastic wedge automatically advances into the conical throat to lock tighter without piercing the wire jacket.
Lightweight & Weather-Proof Wire Bail
Outfitted with an integrated, high-fatigue flexible nylon loop or a highly insulated composite wire bail. This resilient loop dampens mechanical oscillations from severe wind shear, drastically reducing weight overhead and simplifying pole line hook attachments.
Implementation Instructions
Step 1: Single-Core Laying
Do not strip the cable insulation jacket. Fully slide back or unlatch the movable internal plastic wedge from the clamp body, and place the single-core insulated conductor flat inside the parallel channel groove.
Step 2: Hook Anchor Attachment
Push the wedge smoothly forward into the conical sleeve to engage the initial grip. Loop the integrated flexible wire bail directly over the designated pole hook, wall anchor bracket, or drive pin hook.
Step 3: Mechanical Sag Tensioning
Apply uniform pulling force to the service drop to achieve the calculated sag profile. Once the mechanical span weight is transferred onto the clamp, the self-tightening wedge instantly locks the single cable into a permanent holding state.
Step 4: High-Safety Residential Drop & Live-Line Operations
Because both the outer housing and the internal gripping wedges are molded from premium non-conductive polymer matrix, these 1-core plastic clamps are exceptionally safe for installation in close proximity to live lines (hot-line handling). However, prior to final line release, linesmen must visually confirm that the cable insulation jacket is free from raw punctures or core exposure to ensure total watertight safety.
Industrial Engineering & Standards
High-grade fully insulated miniature support fittings mechanically verified to sustain decades of continuous physical strain in urban and coastal utility grids:
- Premium Material Metallurgy: Molded from glass-fiber reinforced, UV-stabilized engineered thermoplastics with high thermal and chemical stability, preventing structural fatigue, cracking, or creep.
- Rigid Utility Standard Compliance: Thoroughly batch-tested and certified to meet or exceed the performance criteria of NF C 33-042 and EN 50483-3 standard specifications for low-voltage overhead accessories.
- Zero Thermal Degradation: All polymer housing shells and internal wedge components retain exceptional dimensional stability and mechanical elasticity across an expansive operational thermal window, resisting both severe freeze and intense tropical UV heat waves.
