PS1500 Suspension Clamps are high-performance utility fittings designed to suspend and support low-voltage Aerial Bundled Conductor (A.B.C.) networks utilizing an insulated neutral messenger system. Positioned on straight-run intermediate poles, this clamp explicitly grips and carries the insulated neutral messenger wire—which acts as the physical bearing core for the entire cable span—while allowing the phase conductors to run adjacent and stress-free.

Features
Targeted Messenger Core Grip
Specifically engineered to carry the heavy mechanical deadweight of the insulated neutral bearing wire (typically 54.6 mm² to 70 mm²), concentrating all structural holding power onto the primary support wire.
Tool-Less Toggle Locking
Features an innovative, tool-free sliding plastic wedge or snap-latch mechanism. This allows linesmen to lock the messenger wire into the cradle firmly and rapidly with bare hands, cutting down overhead installation cycles.
Integrated Phase Conductor Guide
The lower metallic or plastic body is curved to act as an organized support guide, allowing the un-tensioned insulated phase lines to route underneath safely without friction or crowding.
Articulated Movable Linkage
Outfitted with a highly resilient movable structural link or eye-hook interface. This allows smooth vertical swinging and flexible alignment, relieving dynamic wind-shear fatigue on both the cable jacket and the pole line bracket.
Implementation Instructions
Step 1: Messenger Cable Placement
Pull back or open the tool-free plastic retaining link on the clamp body. Separate the insulated neutral messenger wire from the ABC bundle and seat it cleanly inside the central parallel cradle groove.
Step 2: Push-Lock Engagement
Push down the upper plastic retaining block or slide the integrated lock toggle forward until it snaps tightly over the conductor insulation, securing the wire against structural sliding or lifting.
Step 3: Bracket Hanging Execution
Connect the clamp’s upper suspension linkage eye directly onto the pole hook or bracket. Conduct a visual sag check to ensure the phase cables flow adjacent without kinks or point loads.
Step 4: Line Pulling & Live-Line Safe Handling
Because the internal gripping components and outer structural links are molded from non-conductive, UV-stabilized polymer matrix, this suspension clamp is highly safe for handling in close proximity to live lines (hot-line handling). However, to prevent premature wear during stringing operations, linesmen must use standard cable stringing rollers to pull the core bundle before transferring the final neutral load onto the clamp housing.
Industrial Engineering & Standards
High-grade support fittings tested to sustain heavy vertical loads and prolonged climatic tracking across global electrical utility networks:
- Premium Material Engineering: Built from high-strength, corrosion-free aluminium alloy or weather-proof engineered polymers, paired with hot-dip galvanized steel links for maximum load support.
- Rigid Utility Compliance: Fully qualified and batch-certified to exceed the strict vertical loading, slip-resistance, and atmospheric testing benchmarks of NF C 33-040 and EN 50483-3 standards.
- Zero Insulation Wear: The interior plastic clamping blocks feature smooth, large-radius edge profiles that safeguard the wire’s outer dielectric sheath against tearing or mechanical creep under heavy wind spans.
